Well i am one of those odd ones out there with nothing really odd but that we stick to what are called our oddities. I love all the simple things of life rain, wind across the face , flowers way too much.
Even in this busy cut throat world i prefer that line ” What is life if full of care. No time to stand and stare….”
“You can’t love anyone until you understand that you can’t love everyone.”
“The Art Of Accurate Observation Is Often Termed As Cynicism By Those People Who don’t Have It!”
Stare inward to reveal what is undiscovered, mind absorbs what it is exposed to and struggles to stream line. There are times when it releases its fury and then calms down like an ocean. Be a butterfly and visit all the flowers you can, with every passing moment the moments of inner peace are often shattered. Mind is the best friend and worst enemy we carry, but what else it has to do for our existence deserves our gratitude.

I was searching for “remember the roses” in the web and saw this biog i really loved it.
The lines you have noted are the same ones i treasures in my heart.I also read this story from same book you have mentioned.
So glad you liked it Liz. . It never leaves me the whole thought in that story – the dilemma
Just stumbled upon ur blog accidently while looking for reviews on “landour days”…..and being in love with landour …I should say… u described it in a beautiful way. It intrigued me to read more of ur blog. And after reading much of it, I felt as if I was reading my own thoughts here…I was amazed at the commonality of interests, likings & thoughts ….ranging from ruskin bond to …short ICSE stories….art of observation …contrast in 12th & Engg. %….music-jagjit,lata,kishore ..remembering the poetical lyrics hidden in songs….way of observing/describing people …love for nature-flowers, rains, hills…outlook on India , Indians & life …and so on….
It seems I have found an alter ego..
So keep writing …will always be waiting for ur posts…
P.S.: I couldn’t think of a title for a blog better than ”Frozen Thoughtz”
Thanks Naitik its always a nice feeling when we read stuff reflecting our thoughts. I do wish to write more but lets see the times have become a trifle too dark in life.
love ur blog, love the title n love the story “remember the roses”!!!!!
Beautiful !
Thank you so much for directing the way I could print the text of Remember the Roses. I run Time to Listen reading sessions for vulnerable people in Shropshire at local libraries within the county and I so wanted to read them this for our November meeting which is based on the theme of ‘Remembrance’. Bless you for facilitating an opportunity for me to be able to read this to them without charge. We have no access to a copy at central office. Libraries across the UK and the services they provide are under so much strain and restraint, the chance to use good literature is becoming so very difficult, thank you for helping obviate this.

Thanks Angela, So glad it helped. I imagine it must have been wonderful reading out that story.
